Peyton Haley, Board Member
Peyton is a financial advisor with Raymond James. He is a Nashville native who graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a degree in Finance. In addition to Green Interchange, he currently serves on the board of the Tennessee chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. |

Alex Galligan, Board Member
Alex graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, where he conducted research in Reliability and Maintainability Engineering through the U.S. Department of Energy. He is currently a production engineer at Ultium Cells, supporting the manufacture of electric vehicle batteries for General Motors. With a strong interest in renewable energy and energy storage systems, Alex is committed to advancing sustainable technologies for future generations. |

Andrew Connelly, Board Member
Andrew Connelly has volunteered for Green Interchange for the past three years in the Knoxville area. He has had a lifelong interest in nature and conservation. He's spent a lot of time in Boy Scouts and other related organizations participating in various projects in tree planting, habitat restoration, cleanup, education and awareness, and even some trail building and his Eagle Scout project was even about planting trees! |

Katie Jones
Secretary/Treasurer “Having passion for conservation is having passion for your community.” Jones has dedicated the last 15 years serving her community in the banking industry. Currently a Vice President with a Lebanon Bank, she also serves on the boards of other non-profits. She brings knowledge of commercial and consumer financial wellness to the board. Growing up in Baxter, Tennessee she developed a love for the outdoors and spent much of her time fishing with her father. Katie joined with the belief that many small steps make for big impacts on our community’s goals for sustainability and combating climate change. |

John McFadden
CEO John brings over three and a half decades in conservation, sustainability, environmentalism, education and non-profit management to Green Interchange. From ideation to execution McFadden has led municipalities, organizations and individuals in environmental restoration, and environmental education projects. Connecting with everyone from governors to garden clubs, he has raised over 4 1/2 million dollars towards conservation efforts, in addition to leading thousands of volunteers in stream restoration, and reforestation, planting over 1 million trees with staff and volunteers. His work has earned four Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Awards, a Friend of Forestry Award, and the Tennessee River Basin Network’s Science and Management Award.

With a strong drive to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces, Callahan is passionate about enhancing both aesthetics and environmental sustainability in every project. Adeniyi Akinjogbin
Project Planning and Management Assistant Niyi is an environmentalist who is very passionate about Sustainable development, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and stakeholder engagement. He has over a decade of experience in various capacities, which span human resources, supply chain, regulatory compliance, education and training. In his spare time, he enjoys running and reading. His work with Green Interchange will be to ensure that stakeholders are properly engaged with and more trees and gardens are planted, to meet Green Interchange's mission and vision. |
"As an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman, I care deeply about our environment. Unfortunately today, some of the extreme proposals out there have forced conservatives out of the discussion when we should very much be in it. I came up with this idea as an easy way for everyday Tennesseans from both sides of the aisle to come together and take a small first step toward protecting our environment, and beautifying our interchanges too. Because of House Ethics rules, I can't be a part of this project directly, but I am honored that this team has launched my idea, the Green Interchange, and I can't wait to see the impact they make." |
