** By reserving trees here, you agree to the following:
-
You understand this is a nonprofit volunteer activity intended to improve our environment and you will plant your tree on April 23-24 or a soon as possible after receiving your trees.
-
Tree species are subject to availability. In the unlikely event your tree species will not be available, we will offer a similar species, or a full refund if your prefer. We recommend ordering at least two trees.
-
You agree to pick up the seedlings on April 23 from 9am-1pm (*If you are picking up at Chattanooga #2 in Miller Park the pickup is 4/22 from 2pm-7pm). You understand that if you fail to pick trees up during that time, they may be donated to someone else. We will NOT be available by phone or email to help you find this information on the day of pick up, but you can find all of the needed information on this page and in the emails we are sending.
-
Once you commit to picking up your trees at a specific location we cannot send them to another location. Be sure you have selected the pick-up location most convenient to you before proceeding.
-
Double-check the spelling of your email address when checking out. If you do not receive a confirmation receipt but see a charge on your credit card, it means you have typed the wrong email address or the receipt went to your junk mailbox. Please check there before contacting us. If you do not see a charge on your credit card, your order did not go through and you must try again.
-
You have read instructions on how to plant your tree, and you will plant the tree 4/22-4/24 where it is most likely to thrive, and you will avoid planting too close to structures or utility lines.
-
You understand that pick-up site leaders are volunteers and are not employees of Green Interchange.
-
You understand that if an extraordinary event beyond our control occurs, including but not limited to fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, lightning, explosion, strikes, lockouts, slowdowns, shortage of energy supplies, pandemics, war, riots, and acts of governmental action prohibiting or impeding any party from performing its respective obligations for this event, we will do our best to deliver your trees during the agreed-upon day and time but may need to delay tree delivery. The extreme weather alternative date is April 30, 2022. In the unlikely event that we need to change the date, we will announce it ahead of time.
-
After planting, you will take pictures of your tree and post them on social media with the hashtag #plantatreefortn and/or you will send pictures or feedback to us to let us know how your tree is doing. If you are in Davidson County, you will register your qualified tree on the Root Nashville Tree Plotter.
-
You acknowledge that you have the physical capacity reasonably necessary to engage in this activityYou waive all claims that you might have against Green Interchange, Tennessee Environmental Council, its agents, employees, sponsoring organizations, or other volunteers for bodily injuries that you might suffer arising out of your participation.

Planting trees offers great benefits including increased property values, cleaning our air and water, providing shade and habitat for wildlife, and so much more. Thank you for your participation! If you are interested in volunteering as a pickup location in Middle TN please contact us. If you'd like to plant bigger trees in your yard this Fall or volunteer as a pickup location,

Tree seedlings planted in Tennessee will count toward Tennessee Environmental Council's goal of 1 million trees. Tree seedlings planted in Davidson County, which survive one full year after planting and are registered through a simple process, will also count toward the Root Nashville goal of 500,000 trees. Your donations will help Green Interchange do our work of planting trees in roadways, waterways, and other ways. A contribution of just $6 helps us plant and maintain one tree, and donating $6 monthly will help cover your carbon emissions from car travel!
