From Creek to Cattle: Our Farmer Partnership Program

Farmers, you know your land and their livestock better than anyone. That relationship—the daily attention, the generational knowledge, the genuine care for the animals in your charge—is something Green Interchange deeply respects.

If you're looking for support keeping your waterways clean, your vet bills lower, and your livestock healthier, we're here for that. We show up as partners, not experts telling you what to do—just neighbors who care about the same land you do. Healthy water and healthy livestock tend to go hand in hand, and we'd love to help you however we can!

How Green Interchange can help

Cleaner Water for Healthier Livestock
When your waterways are clean, your animals are healthier (with the added benefits of lower vet bills and happy livestock). Here's how we can help:
  • Stabilizing eroding streambanks so soil stays on your land and out of the water your animals drink from
  • Planting native vegetation along waterways to naturally filter out pollutants and reduce harmful algae blooms that can sicken livestock
  • Installing erosion control structures that protect your water sources during heavy rain and flooding
  • Reducing the sediment and bacteria in your waterways that lead to costly livestock health problems down the line

Helping you Protect the Land You Farm
Erosion doesn't announce itself — it just shows up one spring and your field is a little smaller than it was. Here's how we can help:
  • Stopping the slow creep of bank erosion that shrinks fields and threatens farm structures over time
  • Restoring native grasses and deep-rooted plants that hold soil in place naturally
  • Creating vegetated buffer strips between your fields and nearby waterways that keep runoff where it belongs

More Help, Less Hassle
Your time is better spent farming. Green Interchange handles the technical side—finding the funding, navigating any conservation programs, and bringing the expertise—so you can stay focused on what you do best.

Just as you tend your livestock with the next season in mind, good conservation work is built for the long haul. Green Interchange monitors restored sites over time, connects farmers with local resources for long-term success, and works to build healthier waterways that serve your land—and your neighbors'—for generations to come. What starts as a stabilized bank or a planted buffer grows into something beyond a project.

It becomes a legacy.
